Progress is often good but sometimes challenging. You may have noticed the construction along Cincinnati Dayton Road in Olde West Chester on your way to the studio. Here’s the scoop – according to the Butler County Engineer’s Office, traffic along Cincinnati Dayton Road has increased nearly 70%, approaching its full capacity. So, the Cincinnati Dayton Road Improvement Project is expected to run through 2019. The improvements will include:

  • A designated turning lane will allow motorists to make safer turning maneuvers.A new traffic signal system will provide convenient access into and out of surrounding businesses and neighborhoods.

  • An increased number of lanes (2 lanes in each direction plus a turn lane at intersections) will decrease congestion along the Cincinnati Dayton Road corridor.

Consequently, life along Cin-Day in Olde West Chester may become increasingly challenging. Here are some things to consider:

  • Give yourself plenty of time to get to the studio as there will be occasions when traffic may be reduced to one shared lane and directed by flaggers

  • Sometimes there will be construction noise - as the very wise teacher and sage, Antonia von Hirschberg, has suggested, this is a perfect opportunity to practice our awareness of inner Self, the practice of shutting out irritations and annoyances, and finding contentment and inner stillness! Oh, the beauty of obstacles!!”

May we be free from inner and outer harm and danger. May we be safe and protected.

May we be free of mental suffering or distress.

May we be happy.

May we be free of physical pain and suffering.

May we be healthy and strong.

May we be able to live in this world happily, peacefully, joyfully, with ease.
