This professional 300-hour program on yoga therapy brings you the most effective aspects of traditional yoga and ayurveda combined with modern medicine. Designed especially for yoga teachers and advanced practitioners, the program should also be of interest to people from related fields

Specific guidelines for different conditions and general treatment principles will be detailed, empowering you to safely and effectively address disabilities and ill-health through yoga.

Program Structure

The program is delivered in 7 intensive modules (5 days for each module) with a flexible structure. Each module may be attended independently, and certificates will be issued for each module. Every module aims to help you immediately begin applying what you have learned.

Body | Locomotor System

Module 1: Low Back, Pelvis & Lower Limb

Module 2: Cervical & Thoracic Spine, Upper Limb

Breath | Internal Medicine & Breath

Module 3: Anatomy, Physiology and Sequencing of Breath, Respiratory and Cardiovascular Disorders

Module 4: Pranayama, Ayurveda, Neurological/Digestive/Hormonal/Immune Systems

Mind | Yoga Psychology & Psychiatry

Module 5: Mindfulness, Depression, Addictions

Module 6: Positive Psychology, Stress, Anxiety

Integration and Completion

Module 7: Holistic case studies, Assorted topics

Module 1 Dates: April 1st to April 5th, 2016 (Module 2 in October 2016)

Times: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday); 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Tuesday)

Fee: $650 per Module; Early Bird: $600 (if registered by March 25th)
